Tofts and Duckhams Yuasa Racing aiming to continue race-winning ways at Snetterton
Jacob Tofts and the Duckhams Yuasa Racing team head to Snetterton in Norfolk with a strong tailwind following a breakthrough Pro-Am class victory last time out at Brands Hatch.
The youngster is only four races into his Porsche Carwow Carrera Cup GB season and has already made an impression with three podium finishes. After combining strong pace with capitalising on rivals’ misfortune, he has reduced a 13-point championship deficit from the opening weekend at Donington Park to just six points. Another strong performance at the 2.97-mile Snetterton circuit this weekend could propel him firmly into Pro-Am title contention.
The 22-year-old is growing more comfortable in the 510bhp Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car and his recent run of results has also boosted his confidence. With only two weeks having passed since the last round, he will be aiming to add more silverware from rounds five and six.
With long straights and 12 technically challenging corners, Snetterton presents an entirely different challenge to the short 1.2-mile Brands Hatch Indy circuit. Nevertheless, Jacob is optimistic about his chances, helped by an official test session at the track on Tuesday ahead of the race weekend.
Two 45-minute free practice sessions follow on Friday at 09:40 and 13:50, before split qualifying sessions at 12:00 and 17:25 determine the grids for races one and two. Race one gets underway at 10:00 on Sunday 24th May, with the second contest broadcast live on ITV4 and ITVX from 15:10.

I'm looking forward to Snetterton. We go from one extreme to another, as we go from Brands Hatch Indy, which is one of the shortest tracks on the calendar, to the longest! It’s got lots of big straights and fast corners, so there’s good opportunities for overtaking.
We didn't race there last year in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB, but it was the first round I did in 2024, and I got my first podium there, so I enjoy it. It's a very rewarding track to race at and this car is so much fun to drive. It's a privilege to be racing it. I’m looking forward to seeing how we can get on and keep this momentum going.
