Glitz and glamour at the 2022 Porsche Night of Motorsport

On Saturday 3rd December the Duckhams Yuasa Racing team attended the prestigious end-of-season Porsche Awards at the iconic Ascot racecourse.  The awards see the whole championship come together to celebrate the racing successes both on and off the track.

The glittering black-tie dinner event was presented by BTCC’s own Louise Goodman and Alan Hyde in front of over 200 drivers, guests, sponsors, and team personnel. Duckhams Yuasa Racing’s Adam Smalley went up and received his award for finishing runner up in what was a fiercely competitive championship in 2022.

After a great debut year of racing in Porsche Carrera Cup GB, Adam comments, ‘I entered the 2022 season as the new Porsche Junior driver and finished second in my debut year, in what was a hugely competitive grid.  Although it wasn’t the win we all strive towards, I am going to be pushing myself and my team to go one better in 2023.’

Following on from what have been two amazing years for the programme, plans are in progress to go bigger and better for the 2023 season, which is looking likely to be another year of fast and furious racing challenging for the championship.

Our plan for next season will be launch over the coming weeks.
