Duckhams Yuasa Racing ready to take Porsche Pro-Am lead to Donington Park

Duckhams Yuasa Racing resumes its Porsche Carrera Cup GB campaign this weekend (30–31 August) at Donington Park, leading the way in the Pro-Am championship standings.

At the previous round at Knockhill, Max Coates fought hard in two closely contested races, narrowly missing a podium finish but setting the fastest lap in class – underlining both his and the team’s pace.

This event marks the second visit of the year to Donington Park, though this time on the full 2.49-mile Grand Prix circuit, following the season opener on the shorter National layout.

Max and Duckhams Yuasa Racing by Graves Motorsport impressed on that occasion, with fastest lap and a podium finish that helped launch what has so far been a strong campaign.

The weekend schedule features two practice sessions on Thursday, 28 August, before qualifying on Saturday at 13:25. Sunday’s programme includes the first of two 19-lap races at 10:35, with the second broadcast live on ITV4 at 15:55.

Max Coates

“We had a positive end to the weekend at Knockhill and continually improved our race pace, which was encouraging. We’ve been working hard and will carry that momentum into Donington Park. It was a successful venue for us earlier in the year, with a podium and fastest lap, and our aim is to continue building on that progress as we head into the final rounds of the season.”
