Duckhams Yuasa Racing Launches Race to Save Lives Campaign
At the recent Porsche Carrera Cup GB round at Thruxton, Duckhams Yuasa Racing teamed up with Duckhams Oils to unveil its groundbreaking mental health initiative: The Race to Save Lives Campaign
Held in the heart of the paddock retail area, the campaign features a pop-up barbershop run by the Lions Barber Collective. These professional barbers are trained not only to cut hair but also to listen and observe key indicators of mental distress. Free haircuts are offered to visitors, accompanied by safe, judgment‑free conversations on mental health - creating a welcoming space to share experiences and access encouragement.
Absolute Agency has worked closely with The Race to Save Lives team in partnership with David Riddell Memorial CIO, to tackle the silence around male suicide.
In motorsport, a second can change everything. In life, it can save someone.

The Race to Save Lives campaign is scheduled to travel with the Porsche Carrera Cup GB to four more major UK circuits throughout the season. With each stop, the team aims to build awareness, challenge stigma, and support individuals who may be suffering in silence. This weekend (2nd - 3rd July) the event will be at Croft Circuit in Darlington.
