Duckhams Yuasa Racing and Jacob Tofts aiming to continue strong form at Brands Hatch

Duckhams Yuasa Racing by Graves Motorsport returns to action this weekend (9-11 May), as the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB heads to Brands Hatch, where Jacob Tofts will be looking to build on his encouraging start to the 2025 campaign.

Jacob narrowly missed out on pole by less than half a tenth of a second at the season opener but turned that performance into a podium finish in race one. An electrical issue in Sunday’s finale hampered his progress, although he mounted an impressive recovery to gain 10 places and record the fastest lap of the race.

This weekend the series tackles Brands Hatch’s 1.2-mile Indy circuit, though Jacob already has fond memories of the longer Grand Prix layout, having taken class pole, a race win, and another podium at the venue late last season.

He will head out for two 45-minute practice sessions on Friday, 9 May, with qualifying at 11:35 and Race 1 at 16:25 on Saturday, 10 May. Sunday’s race’s two and three are set for 12:15 and 16:15 on 11 May, and both will be shown live on ITV4 in the UK and on YouTube worldwide (excluding the UK and USA).

“I’m looking forward to Brands Hatch; it’s a very short track but is by no means easy to race on in GT cars. We had a strong test before the start of the season and have some things to try in Practice on Friday, in an effort to extract all the lap time we can.

“Despite the disappointment of the last round, the positives we took away from Donington are significant – most significantly, I now know we had the pace to win, hence I’m confident this can carry over. Let’s hope our bad luck is now behind us and I look forward to seeing everyone over the weekend!”
