Born To Race Series - Episode 1 - The Desert

The first episode of the ‘Born to Race’ series airs on the 20th April, with Adam Smalley, Oliver White and their Driver Manager Chris Hodgen embarking on a trip to Dubai for a pre-season training session.  First stop was to meet Duckhams Global CEO K. R. Venkataramen.  Established in 1899, the brand currently trades out of 13 x countries world wide, aiming for 20 x countries by the end of 2022. ‘ The two young drivers are making the brand more contemporary and more relevant to today’s generation.  This is the journey we are on to make sure the brand continues to be relevant for the next 100 years’ he said.

Taking to the track at the Autodrome Kart Centre on a Duckhams corporate event, the drivers experienced intensifying heat, similar to that behind the wheel of the Porsche with Adam securing the fastest lap of the day.  Amongst early hour training sessions in the gym, the drivers ended their trip quad biking in the desert dunes amongst the camels.
